Some people live long even upto more than 100 years, whereas some die early, at very young age. Some have short life upto middle age. Short life is of 2 types:

  1. Balarishta or Early death. Child lives upto 8 years.
  2. Alpayu or short life. Person lives upto 32 years of age.

Planetary combinations for Balarishta

  1. Placement of Moon in 6,8,12 houses of horoscope aspected by malefics causes death of the newborn child after birth.
  2. When retrograde benefics are placed in 6,8,12 houses and are aspected by malefic planets.
  3. Moon in Gandanta of a constellation associated or aspected by malefics. GANDANTA is constellations of Mercury and Ketu.
  4. Birth at the time of Sun rise or Sun set in moon’s hora or Gandanta and Moon and malefics are placed in the Kendra houses (1,4,7,10 houses).
  5. When Moon and all malefics occupy Kendra (1,4,7,10) houses.
  6. When weak Moon is placed in ascendant and malefics are placed in Kendra houses as well as 8th house.
  7. When Moon is in ascendant and 7th house is occupied by malefics.
  8. Moon is in ascendant, Saturn in 12th house, Sun in 9th House and Mars in 8th house and Jupiter is powerless .
  9. When ascendant sign is Cancer or Scorpio and houses 10 to 4 are occupied by malefics. Benefics are placed in left over houses.Such placement of planets is also called Vajra-Mushti yoga.
  10. When moon and ascendant are not aspected by benefics and are surrounded by malefics, child dies early alongwith the mother.
  11. Birth at the time of eclipse and ascendant is under the aspect of Saturn and Mars, child dies within 14 days of birth.
  12. Mars,Saturn and Sun are conjunct in 6th or 8th house of horoscope.

Balarishta Dosha – Cancellation

A Powerful Jupiter in the ascendant can cancel this dosha completely. If Jupiter is in other kendras (i.e. 4, 7, or 10th houses), and this Jupiter aspects the malefics causing the dosha this dosha is cancelled.

 

The other benefics like Venus, or Mercury (unaspected by malefic) can also cancel the evil of Balarishta dosha if they are well-placed in the horoscope and are strong.

Remedies for Balarishta Dosh

  1. Mahamrityunjay hamam for the malefic planet which can cause ill effects.
  2. Dhanvantri jap hamam with specific planet dosha puja.
  3. Gingerly oil dhrasthi for the new born.
  4. Three faceted rudraksha should be tied on the arm of the child.

Planetary combinations for Alpayu or short life

  1. When weak ascendant lord and 8th lord are placed in a Kendra house (1,4,7,10).
  2. When ascendant lord is weak,Eighth House lord is debilitated and 8th house is afflicted native has alpayu.
  3. When 5th house, 8th house and 8th house lord,all three factors are under affliction native lives upto 32 years of age.
  4. When Jupiter is placed in 8th house in Aries or Scorpio sign and is aspected by Moon, Mars and Saturn there is chance of short life in the destiny of the native.
  5. When Jupiter and Venus are deposited in the ascendant and a malefic is placed in the 5th house.
  6. When a weak ascendant lord and a weak Moon are placed in 3,6,9,12 houses of the horoscope and both are aspected by malefics life is short.
  7. When Sun is in ascendant and malefics occupy 2nd and 12th houses from it.
  8. No benefics in 1,4,7,10 houses and a benefic planet is placed in the 8th house.
  9. When Moon is placed in the 12th house and a malefic is placed in the 6th House of a horoscope.
  10. When 3rd lord and Mars and 8th lord and Saturn are combust or afflicted by malefics there is short life in destiny of the native.
  11. When 8th lord is conjunct with Ketu in the first house of the horoscope person is destined to live a short life.

Remedies to Increase Life Span

  1. Go to Shiva temple daily and pray there after offering flowers.
  2. Recite Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra day and night for 43 days continuously to save someone’s life. Start this in the waxing moon period.
