Are Retrograde Planets Powerful ?

Retrograde planets do not always produce bad results. Retrogression enhances the effects and functions under consideration associated with such planets. When planets are retrograde in motion their power to give good or bad effects is increased. So, benefic planets become more benevolent and malefic planets become more malevolent. Retrograde planets are closest to Earth; therefore, their impact on the individual is the strongest. Along with the birth chart interpretation, the retrograde planet’s significations during the transits are not effecting natives on earth normally but get changed.

During Retrograde periods of time a planet appears to move backwards in its orbit from our point of view from Earth. In realty no planet actually moves backward in its orbit in the sky. It is just an optical illusion. But this type of motion effects human on earth i. e. in different way during retrograde motion. Retrograde motion is an APPARENT change in the movement of the planet through the sky. It is not REAL in that the planet does not physically start moving backwards in its orbit. It just appears to do so because of the relative positions of the planet and Earth and how both are moving around the Sun.

Retrograde planet appears as if it is moving in the opposite direction, from east to west across the sky, often looping or zig-zagging as it moves on. To the observer sitting on earth this looks as though the planet is moving backwards.
